Breathing problems

Asthma is a very common breathing problem. This usually starts at a young age and as the person grows older, asthma slowly drifts away. But, there are cases wherein even the elderly are still suffering from asthma.

What should they do in times like these?

1. See a doctor if you are having troubles breathing. Lung condition treatments may be a little more difficult for an elder as compared to young adults.
2. Use an inhaler.
3. Stay indoors as long as possible.
4. If you are exercising, warm up first before you continue to open up airways.
5. Avoid very cold air which is more dry than warm air.
