Care giving is a very common term nowadays. It has been the trend of jobs in the United States lately. By the word itself, a care giver takes care of the elderly or children who are suffering from disability or old age. Today, there have been millions of informal care givers in the US who take care of their friends or loved ones. Some are even hired to do so. Most of the time, the average hours of stay of a caregiver is 20 hours a week. However, if circumstances allow it, they may stay longer as needed.

Being a caregiver is not as easy as it sounds. You got to have basic knowledge about medicine, taking care of others, first aid and many more. Care givers often are at a risk of depression and some serious physical illness. So if you want to be a caregiver, you must be willing to take the risks and do your best to take care of those who are in need.
