Senior Money
Filed Under Insurance, Making Money, Senior Discounts | Leave a Comment
As a retired individual, a senior must watch out for the money that they have. It means being on the look out for scams and avoiding them as much as possible. Scams come in different forms like winning the lottery and then calling you up to deposit a certain amount of money to a certain bank account to get the price money and then evetually, the communication will be lost after paying the said amount. Another form of a scam is when seniors get a phone call about soliciting a certain amount of money for a product.
All you have to do is learn how to say no and tell them that you are not interested about their ideas. Saying no saves a lot of lives and money. By doing this, you will be able to tell the world that you should be respected and that nobody can touch an independent senior.

Discounted Holiday Dinner
Filed Under Senior Discounts | Leave a Comment
Way before Christmas I have been doing some planning regarding our menu and the wine that I will be serving for my guests. People come and go in our place and most of the time they drink wine.
I have to get something cheap yet it has to taste really great. While doing some wild card search in the Internet, I came across a site that offers coupons on different items. The site is called Coupon Chief and it feels good that they have bundled many coupons and discounted items in one website. I found discounts on wines and now that I have the code, I made an online purchase. I saved a lot and I could use the extra money to buy a pair of slacks for me. Cool holiday treat huh?

Holiday Love

The cool breeze of the holiday season has glazed upon my cheeks once again. I could still remember the time when I asked Marjorie to marry me last year.
We had a fantastic holiday in
When we were at the resort, I shouted the patented “Will you please marry me?” while going down from the Union Creek Area. People were staring at me and I didn’t even care. My world suddenly paused when she said yes.
All of this I owe to Holiday Supermarket and I will definitely book another flight for another holiday escapade with the one woman that I truly love.

Cutting Costs

My aunt retired recently. She would not want to spend money on expensive materials. After all, she has the luxury of enjoying discounts and coupons since she’s a senior citizen. She can visit any establishment, flash her card and voila! Here comes a discounted price.
The thought of having a list of different establishments offering discounts has gone through her mind as well. While surfing the Internet, she found a cool website that takes a small fee of over $7 a year but compiles a huge variety of promo codes, coupons and establishments offering discounts to senior citizens.
I am so thankful about such programs because it makes senior citizens feel rewarded for the work that they have done. I just wish that more people will come up with the same programs so that by the time I reach my senior years, I would have plenty of rewarding discounts to choose from too.

Technology is great isn’t it? Your PC isn’t just kind of useful when it comes to word processing, browsing the web, sending emails and shopping online – it can even cut out coupons for you!! Well, not literally of course!
If you’re an online senior shopper then you probably already have an eye for a bargain. Buying stuff over the Internet is simply cheaper than buying from stores in the real world. But, there’s a couple of ways you can save even more money – online coupons and cashback sites.
Online coupons work in the same kind of way as regular coupons – you don’t get the fun of sitting at the kitchen table cutting them out from your local newspaper though but guess you can’t have everything! You’ll find plenty of online coupon sites out there to keep you in coupon heaven and you can get discounts on anything from a coffee and a Danish to a computer. Some coupons need to be printed off to be used in the real world while others will simply give you a special code that you can use during the online shopping checkout process.
A lot of seniors are also starting to use cashback sites when they shop online as well. These sites link you up with online stores where they’ve negotiated special deals. So, you visit the cashback site, choose the store you want to buy from and click on the link to get there. The link is real important as it tells the sites where you came from so they can apply the special deal – this can be a cashback, a special offer or a discount.
