As age comes, sleeping problems hound people. Seniors will soon find out that even if they sleep so late at night, they still end up waking as early as the sun. Also, the good night sleep they used to have is not that good anymore.

There are several health conditions that contribute to insomnia. These health conditions include arthritis, osteoporosis, heartburn, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, incontinence, gastroesophageal reflux disease, stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, heart disease and enlarged prostate. Some of the conditions like arthritis contribute because of the pain that they bring which literally makes falling asleep very difficult to accomplish. A typical work around is to change and adjust your sleeping position to a more comfortable one during the night.
