Communication Gap

Grand parents and grand children often have communication problems. This occur mostly when grand parents try to talk to them. Most of the time, children do not want to speak to their elders because the topics often bore them or they want to go out and play with children at the same age. What they do to avoid conversations with their grand parents is simply get out of the house, ignore them or be grumpy.
As a senior, trying harder to communicate is probably th best way to win the hearts of your grand children. Try looking at the things that interest them and get yourself acquainted with those things.
Sooner or later, the children will come around their senses and respect you more. Sadly, most of the time, they understand this when it is their turn to be grand parents.
