Most seniors are using dentures and unknowingly, they may get infected once they try to place their dentures in places that may accumulate germs. Dentures help seniors eat properly, talk understandably and more importantly, it makes them smile and laugh naturally.
Seniors must have a proper case for their dentures when they remove it every night. It is not enough to place it inside a glass with water. It has to be placed in a clean container. Also, they must clean it first before they keep it. Brush it properly and remove any left - over foods before storing it. Also, try to have it checked regularly by an orthodontist and make sure that it does not hurt gums.
Dentures need ample care and cleanliness just like the real ones. So keep it clean and live a healthy lifestyle.
