Early Signs of Stroke

Stroke is one of the killer diseases for seniors. It is important that they are well equipped and adept with knowledge regarding this disease. How can they tell if a stroke is about to hit? Here are several signs of a possible attack of stroke.

  1. Sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg — especially on one side of the body

  2. Sudden problems seeing in one eye or both eyes

  3. Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding

  4. Sudden dizziness, loss of balance or coordination, or trouble walking

  5. Sudden severe headache with no known cause

If you or your loved one is experiencing this, then it is time to rush yourself to the hospital or even call 911. Do not take stroke lightly. Noticing these signs may save your life.
