A surprising $250 billion of senior citizen for federal Medicare and Medicaid is wasted on fraud and scams. This annual loss has put the government on high alert, making them launch programs and seminars aiming to prevent such scams.
This year, federal officials does their mission in Concord, and later in New england, giving brochures and goodies to seniors. But the main goal of the officials is to educate the people regrading this matter.
One of the techniques this scam performs is introducing a telemarketer going door to door, looking for SSS number or e-mail information. When they persuade their victims, they start doing their scams and ask for money. Situations like this needs to be observed like this should be observed carefully, and when things start to get suspicious, it should be reported immediately.
