Believe it or not, most senior citizens are suffering from insomnia. Some tend to be frustrated even more that it could lead to other possible illnesses. If you are having problems sleeping or staying asleep, then you have to understand the reasons as well.
Here are some of the possible reasons behind those sleepless nights.
1. Illness or discomfort
2. The feeling of depression
3. Too much stress or even anxiety
4. Drinking caffeine or alcohol, too much smoking or taking in medications or illicit drugs.
5. Inappropriate sleeping environment which includes noisy surroundings and bright rooms.
6. Activities that affect sleep like too many afternoon naps or sleeping very early.
