Tabbed browsing has easily captured the hearts of Internet enthusiasts the moment it was introduced to the public. Most of the popular web browsers are now using the tabbed interface. The Internet Explorer of Microsoft, Firefox of Mozilla and Netscape has been using the tabbed interface for quite sometime.

For seniors, the computer screen may appear to small for them and they would tend to move closer to the screen so that they could somehow get a clearer view of what they are doing. In this case, if their web browser does not support tabbed browsing, the screen will be filled with many windows that may seem to be annoying and very untidy for seniors. Tabbed browsing is a great way to organize the web browsing experience.
