Water on the Knee

Have you noticed an inflammation on the knees of your grandfather or your grandmother? are they having difficulties walking, standing or even climbing stairs? Then this may be the cause of water on the knee.
It refers to the accumulation of fluid in a sack called the bursa which is located just beneath the knee cap. It is often associated with an inflammatory process. This problem is often resolved right after medication of mechanical drainage. However, the cause of the swelling is equally important to identify simply because it is associated with the correct treatment to be done.
The best thing to do is to consult a physician when inflammations and pain are seen at the knee. This way, it will be treated accordingly.
