Why the World Needs Old People

They need your help so they can move. They need you to remind them about a lot of things so they can remember. They need you to do the chores so they can be comfortable. And, basically, it seems that they need you all the time so they can live another day. If you are thinking that seniors are all about this, then you are gravely wrong. Though such observations speak of reality, seniors are definitely not the type of people you think they are…. because….

We get wisdom from them. We are talking about smart and grown-up people here. Their old age means a lot of experiences in life and that makes them much stronger, especially when they acquire knowledge and lesson from them. Naturally, these pieces of wisdom are passed through their sons and daughters, and later, to their grandchildren.

They take care of us. Even when they are starting in their aging stage, they give their best to take care of their children (who are already grown-ups) and their grand kids. Their best shot is what they bestow in pampering and giving their loved-ones things that will make them happy.

They show unconditional love. They can ignore them and hurt them but these seniors will continue to show love and care for us. The bottom line here, what they show is the personification of unconditional love.
